Scott Machado was really glad he decided to attend the Saturday night mixer at the Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show in January. Not only because he got to dance to the sounds of The Disco Kings, but because he was announced the lucky winner of a Fast T-Jet Blazer Express, valued at $18,995. The Express is one of the latest models of digital inket-to-garment printers offered by U.S. Screen & Inkjet Technology.

Machado has been in business for 12 years and offers screen printing, embroidery, and ad specialties. His company M&M Screen Printing & Embroidery is located in Clovis, Calif. and he has 10 employees.

All guests who came to the Saturday night mixer had a chance to participate in the U.S. Screen giveaway via a two-part ticket. The winning ticket was drawn before the end of the night and announced at the party. President Scott Fresener personally presented Machado with his prize.

The new Fast T-Jet® Blazer Express is a tabletop machine that prints one shirt at a time and can print up to 16-inch x 20-inch images at a rate of approximately 40 to 60 shirts per hour for light shirts and 12 to 15 prints per hour for dark shirts. Other features of the Blazer include an easy-to-load shirt board, a heavy-duty bulk ink system, exhaust fans, and touch-pad controls. It can also be used for towels, caps, totes and almost any fabric as well as nontextiles such as golf balls, keyboards, tile, and tennis balls.

Along with the Blazer Express, Machado also will received FastARTIST, FastRIP, a T-Jet power sprayer, one gallon of FastINK textile white, one litre of FastINK3 CMYK, a standard 13-inch by 16-inch shirt board and an oversized 16-inch by 20-inch shirt board.
